The lawful bases on which we process your personal information include: performance of a contract (where processing is necessary to deliver services you have requested), compliance with a legal obligation and legitimate interests (where we have a legitimate business reason to process your information that does not override your rights and freedoms).

In the course of providing our managed IT services, your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of South Africa, including by cloud service providers whose infrastructure is hosted internationally. Where such transfers occur, we take appropriate steps to ensure your information is protected in accordance with POPIA and applicable data protection standards, including entering into data transfer agreements where required.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. When your data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymise it.

8. Your Rights

In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Object to the processing of your personal information
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator

We will respond to all requests within 30 days of receipt. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 12.

Our services are not directed at or intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.
